Hi! My name is Mickey McBride. Welcome to Easy Listening, the MIDI site. If you like the old favorites, I think you?ll love this site. Here, as the site develops, you will find hundreds of your favorite old songs; songs from the Big Band era, Jazz Tunes, Show Tunes, memorable melodies from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. You might even find a few songs from the 90s, if I ever learn them! LOL!

I will be the first to confess that, at least when I started this project, I didn?t know a thing about html, but I did know a thing or two about music. With this in mind, some of my very best friends got together and created this site for you. All I had to do was create the MIDI files, the music you will be listening to and taking with you. Yes!!! That?s right!!!! It?s all FREE for the taking. You may download any songs you like, together with the words to the songs. Yup!!! The lyrics!!!! No longer will you have to sit at your computer, listening to MIDI files, and trying to remember the words to the song. Each song provided for you will also have lyrics, unless there are no words to it.

The wonderful people who contributed to making this site what it is deserve to be honored here but they have chosen to remain annonymous. Still, I think we owe them all a lot of thanks because, without them, this site would never have gotten started.

This site will continually be under construction, adding more songs as the MIDI files are prepared. So wear your hard-hat at each visit, and please do visit often.
